Bengals Announce Agreements With Eight Unrestricted Free Agents
The Bengals announced they have reached contract agreements with eight unrestricted free agents since the new 2020 league year began on March 18. The execution of those contracts are subject to the players passing team physicals at a later date.
Bengals Release Dre Kirkpatrick
Cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick, a ninth-year player in 2020, originally was the first of two first-round draft picks of the Bengals in 2012 (selected 17th overall). He went on to play in 99 games (67 starts) for Cincinnati and totaled 291 career tackles, 10 interceptions, three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.
Bengals Place Waiver Claim On Tony Brown
The Bengals today placed a waiver claim on CB Tony Brown, who was waived by the Packers on Saturday. His rights will be awarded to the Bengals after the Super Bowl. Brown, who will be a third-year player in 2020, originally was a college free agent signee of the L.A. Chargers in 2018, though he has spent his first two seasons with Green Bay.
Böhringer And Lodge Signed To Reserve/Future Contracts
The Bengals signed TE Moritz Böhringer and WR DaMarkus Lodge to Reserve/Future contracts. Böhringer, who was a first-year player in 2019, originally joined the Bengals in May of 2018 as part of the NFL's International Player Pathway Program. Lodge, a rookie in 2019, was originally a college free agent signee of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in May.

William Jackson, a fourth-year player, suffered a right shoulder injury in last Sunday's game at Miami. He had played in 14 games (13 starts) this season, and recorded 37 tackles, an interception and three passes defensed.

Linebacker Brady Sheldon, a first-year player out of Ferris State University, was originally a college free agent signee of the Oakland Raiders. He spent all of 2017 with the Raiders and played in two games (no statistics), before later spending time on the Browns' and Packers' practice squads.
Bengals Clear Jonah Williams For Practice, Sign DaMarkus Lodge To Practice Squad
Jonah Williams, the Bengals' first-round pick (11th overall) in April's draft, has not played this season due to a shoulder injury he suffered in June during OTAs. DaMarkus Lodge (6-2, 203), a rookie out of the University of Mississippi, originally was a college free agent signee of Tampa Bay this year.
Bengals Activate John Ross, Waive Damion Willis
The Bengals today activated WR John Ross III to the 53-player roster from the Reserve/Injured list and waived WR Damion Willis. Ross, a third-year player, spent the last eight games on the Reserve/Injured list due to a sternoclavicular injury suffered in Game 4 at Pittsburgh.
