About Dive Right

Dive Right is a leadership development program for youth ages 13-17 aimed at grounding young people in the concepts of team culture by exploring ideals of diversity, implicit bias and conflict resolution. This six week program is a collaboration led by the Cincinnati Bengals, the Cincinnati Police Department and Youth at the Center with on-going support from the Cincinnati Recreation Commission, Hamilton County Juvenile Court and NEX College Tours, intended to foster positive relationships between youth and law enforcement. The program was founded in 2019 through a $100,000 donation from the Cincinnati Bengals with in-person training hosted at Paycor Stadium followed by a weekly flag football game with the youth coached by Bengals players and Cincinnati Police Officers. To ensure the valuable dialogue could continue, the program pivoted to a virtual platform in 2020. The Bengals have committed another $50,000 to continue the program into 2021.
