Evan Dreyer of Anderson High School Wins Paul Brown Coaching Award

Evan Dreyer, the head football coach at Anderson High School, is the 2025 season winner of the Paul Brown Excellence in Coaching Award.

The Paul Brown Excellence in Coaching Award has been given annually by the Bengals since 2002. It honors outstanding high school football coaches in the region and includes a $10,000 Bengals donation to Anderson High School's athletic department. The Bengals recognized Dreyer during Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens.

Dreyer completed his 10th season as head coach of the Anderson football program in 2025. He led the Raptors to a 14-1 final record, which included their second consecutive Eastern Cincinnati Conference title, third straight regional title and second straight appearance in the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division II state championship game. He was named the ECC Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season, and 14 Anderson players earned all-conference honors.

Dreyer has compiled a 101-29 record in his 10 seasons at Anderson. Prior to his time with the Raptors, he spent the 2015 season as head coach at Oak Hills High School, following six years as head coach at Western Brown High School. He also works as a Physical Education teacher at Anderson. A Cincinnati native, he played high school football at McNicholas High School, then played wide receiver at Mount St. Joseph University.

He and his wife, Megan, have two children, Carmen and EJ. Megan also works at Anderson High School as a Paraprofessional.

Dreyer is the 25th winner of the Paul Brown Excellence in Coaching Award.
