A fifth-round Bengals draft pick in 2024, Newton earned a roster spot coming out of his rookie training camp and has played in 31 games with eight starts over the past two seasons ... Career totals include 40 tackles, 10 PDs and one INT ... Spent his final two college seasons (2022-23) at Texas Christian University, where he started all 27 games he played in and had 24 PDs with four INTs ... Was a team captain for TCU in 2023, and in '22 he ranked second in Big 12 Conference with 12 pass breakups while helping lead team to College Football Playoff National Championship game ...
