Five Observations from Day 15 of Bengals Training Camp

1. Rookie Gets Advice From The Vet

Rookie Demetrius Knight sought out Trey Hendrickson for pass-rushing tips.

"If I can learn key pointers from THE Trey Hendrickson, I'm going to absorb it all. Instead of standing there watching other guys run around, why not learn?"

2. Golden, Al Golden

Speaking of Knight, he had an interesting comparison when I asked him about defensive coordinator Al Golden.

"He's a calm, cool, and collected James Bond-type of guy," Knight said. "A silent assassin. I love him."

3. Good Day From O-Line

After the O-line struggled on Wednesday, Joe Burrow had time to stand in the pocket and fire darts.

"We'll look at the tape and see what we've got to work on, because there are always corrections," offensive line coach Scott Peters said. "But I think they came out with the right mindset today."

4. Another Strong Day for CTB

While Burrow was sharp, I don't recall any completions on Cam Taylor-Britt who blanketed Tee Higgins here.

"That's one thing I get to do every day — work on my technique against the best WRs in the league," Taylor-Britt said.

"Right now he's in a good spot," cornerbacks coach Charles Burks said.

5. In The Trenches

Ted Karras is as friendly as they come off the field, but practices and plays with an angry edge.

"Our position is hard — probably one of the hardest in professional sports," Karras said. "You have to have a high level of competitive stamina, pain tolerance and toughness."
