Meet Ndukwe on Saturday

Bengals safety Chinedum Ndukwe will be at Whole Foods Market in Lexington, Kentucky on Saturday, August 8, following the Black-Orange Mock Game from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Ndukwe has partnered with Whole Foods Market in the Kentucky and Ohio region in an effort to improve the health and wellness of the surrounding communities. In exchange for his efforts, Whole Foods will donate 5 percent of Saturday's net sales to the Ndukwe Foundation. The foundation's principles are a direct reflection of Ndukwe's increasing desire to optimize nutrition and physical activity within the local youth. An avid supporter of instilling proper lifestyle habits at an early age, Ndukwe's first goal is to promote healthy eating initiatives.

"The Ndukwe Foundation is extremely grateful to receive a portion of Saturday's sales from Whole Foods. Such partnerships enable us to give back to the youth in both Kentucky and Ohio in every possible way to ensure a more balanced, healthy way of life," Ndukwe said. "We are dedicated to educating schools, families and communities on the importance of wellness achieved through healthy eating and active living that has been so imperative in both my life and my career."

The hard-hitting Bengals defensive back and fellow Cincinnati Bengals teammates will be signing autographs and promoting the Ndukwe Foundation on Saturday, August 8 from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. at the Whole Foods Market, 161 Lexington Green Cir #A2, Lexington, KY 40503 (phone: 859-971-8600). Shoppers will have a chance to register for a pantry makeover provided by the Ndukwe Foundation.
