Five Observations from Day 14 of Bengals Training Camp

1. Reds Attend Practice

Zac Taylor invited Cincinnati Reds players to watch practice from the sideline.

"It's the opportunity of a lifetime for a Cincinnati kid and a Cincinnati fan," said Moeller HS grad and Reds pitcher Brent Suter. "Watching practice like this is awesome."

2. Logan Wilson Receiver?

It's Burrow to…Wilson? During special teams drills, Logan Wilson often catches passes. His 11 INTs lead all linebackers since he entered the NFL.

"In my position, they're not really throwing to you," Wilson said. "You're going to have to make all different kinds of catches."

3. Burrow to Higgins

There was extensive scrimmaging, and the offense scored on its first drive on a Joe Burrow to Tee Higgins TD.

"We didn't put ourselves in position to defend that play," cornerbacks coach Charles Burks said. "Those guys didn't gripe. They regrouped and played well the rest of the scrimmage."

4. Defensive Lockdown

In fact, the first and second team offense did not score another Touchdown for the remainder of practice.

"The defense played well," Lucas Patrick said. "You've got to give the credit to them. They've got some good, young, talented players. But we've got to be better up front."

5. Terrific Taylor-Britt

Cam Taylor-Britt looks terrific. The key is consistency in all things.

"If you make the bed in the morning, you'll start your day off right," Taylor-Britt said. "It's the same thing with football stuff. You've got to do the same thing every day."
