1. Burrow Putting In Work

"Joe Burrow’s jump passes don't just happen in games. He's constantly working on off-platform throws.

'It's just putting yourself in weird positions and having to use different parts of your body to get enough velocity on it,' he said."

2. OL Coach Impresses Veteran

Newcomer Lucas Patrick is a candidate to start at RG. The 9-year vet is impressed with new O-line coach Scott Peters.

"It's the most detailed I've ever been during OTA's," said Patrick. "You really get to hone in on new techniques, set a tone, and take the fight to D-lineman."

3. Jenkins Year 2 Leap

Kris Jenkins played much of his rookie year wearing a club on one hand to protect a broken thumb.

"The kid's tough, played through it, and did some good things," defensive line coach Jerry Montgomery said. "Imagine if he had both hands. His jump from year 1 to year 2 should be big."

4. Undrafted Free Agent Turning Heads

Undrafted WR Jordan Moore out of Duke (177 career catches, 21 TD) will be a player to keep an eye on in the preseason.

"He's an A+ young man, fits our culture, and wants to be great," wide receivers coach Troy Walters said. "He's coachable, and I'm excited to have him as one of our guys."

5. Tee and Ja'Marr

Big contract extensions haven't changed Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. They rewarded fans that waited in the rain by signing autographs after practice.

"They've been awesome," Walters said. "They understand to whom much is given, much is required and expected."
