The Bengals today made the following roster moves:
*Signed free agent G Dalton Risner. Risner (6-5, 312), a seventh-year player out of Kansas State University, originally was a second-round draft pick of Denver in 2019. He spent his first four seasons (2019-22) with the Broncos and the past two years ('23-24) with Minnesota. He has played in 87 career regular-season games with 81 starts — 73 at LG and eight at RG.
*Waived DT Eric Gregory. Gregory, a rookie out of the University of Arkansas, signed with the Bengals as a college free agent in May.
*Signed OT Javon Foster to the practice squad. Foster (6-5, 319), a second-year player out of the University of Missouri, originally was a fourth-round draft pick of Jacksonville in 2024. He played in four games for the Jaguars and was inactive in 13 contests.
*Signed S Russ Yeast to the practice squad. Yeast (5-10, 195), a third-year player out of Kansas State University, originally was a seventh-round pick of the L.A. Rams in 2022. He spent the entirety of his first two pro seasons (2022-23) with the Rams, then was waived by the Rams early in the '24 campaign. He then spent the remainder of the 2024 season with Carolina, Arizona (practice squad) and Houston. He has played in 36 career games with 10 starts, recording 78 tackles and five PDs.
*Released OT Devin Cochran from the practice squad. Cochran, a third-year player, played in nine games for the Bengals last season.
The Bengals' practice squad currently is one spot shy of the 16-player limit.
