8th Annual Bengals Blood Drive


The Cincinnati Bengals and Local 12 have once again teamed up with Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati to host the 8th Annual Bengals Blood Drive on Tuesday, Oct. 27 at Paul Brown Stadium from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Parking is free and all donors will receive a free limited edition Bengals T-shirt and a mini football, while supplies last. For additional information or to schedule your donation, please click here.

Bengals WeekIf you can't join us on October 27, Hoxworth Blood Center will be celebrating "Bengals Week" at all of our Neighborhood Donor Centers. Donate blood on Oct. 26, 28, 29, 30 and 31 at a neighborhood donor center or community blood drive and you will receive a free limited edition Bengals T-shirt, while supplies last.

As a special bonus Hoxworth Blood Center will open the Downtown neighborhood donor center on Monday, Oct. 26 between the hours of 9:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m.

How to Donate:
Donating blood is safe and easy. You must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with a signed parental consent) and in good health. You must weigh at least 110 pounds and bring identification to donate. It is recommended that donors eat a good meal and drink plenty of water within four hours before donating.

Hoxworth Blood Center, University of Cincinnati, is on a campaign to recruit 100,000 Donors, 100,000 Heroes. Founded in 1938, we serve 32 hospitals in 17 counties in Southwestern Ohio, Northern Kentucky and Southeastern Indiana.  Annually, Hoxworth collects over 90,000 units of blood from local donors.  At least 350 volunteer blood donors and 40 volunteer platelet donors are essential each day to keep up with the demands of tri-state hospitals and their patients.
