The Bengals travel to Green Bay to take on the Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field. The game kicks off at 4:25 p.m. ET on CBS (Cincinnati’s channel 12).

Here is what to watch for:

Flacco's Debut Comes Against Familiar Foe

The Bengals acquired veteran quarterback Joe Flacco in a trade with Cleveland on Tuesday, adding an experienced signal caller to the Cincinnati offense. Flacco started the first four games of this season for the Browns and threw for 815 yards, then did not see action in their fifth contest as Dillon Gabriel made his NFL debut.

Zac Taylor confirmed on Wednesday that Flacco will start for the Bengals this week at Lambeau, just five days after his acquisition.

"Joe is an experienced quarterback with a history of winning," Taylor said. "He is a leader with a skill set that will fit our personnel well. He is a gifted passer with a strong arm, and we are excited to have him on our team."

Flacco already has seen the Green Bay defense once this season, as he faced the unit in the Browns' Week 3 win over the Packers in Cleveland. He completed 21 of 36 passes for 142 yards with an interception in that game, and led a late five-play drive to set up a game-winning field goal to hand the Packers their first loss.

Green Bay is holding opponents to just 283.3 net yards per game this season, the fourth-best average by any NFL defense. However, after holding their first three opponents to under 250 yards, the Packers yielded 436 in their most recent matchup at Dallas in Week 4. Green Bay is coming off a bye in Week 5.

Ja'Marr Chasing 50th TD

With two touchdown catches last week against Detroit, Ja’Marr Chase boosted his career receiving TD total to 49. Should he get his 50th scoring reception on Sunday in what will be his 68th career regular-season game, he would become the seventh-fastest player in NFL history to reach the milestone.

Chase's 49 touchdown catches are the most in the NFL since the start of his 2021 rookie season, four ahead of Tampa Bay's Mike Evans (45). He has logged at least seven receiving

TDs in each of his first four seasons, including a league-leading 17 last year which tied the Bengals single-season record originally set by Carl Pickens in 1995.

In his only previous game against Green Bay, which came in Week 5 of the 2021 season in Cincinnati, Chase caught six passes for 159 yards with a 70-yard touchdown just before halftime.

Hendrickson Continues Climbing Bengals' Sack Leaderboard

Trey Hendrickson’s team-leading four sacks this season have improved his total as a member of the Bengals to 61. The 2021 free agent acquisition enters this week just 1.5 sacks shy of tying former linebacker Reggie Williams (62.5) for fourth in Bengals history.

Hendrickson's 61 sacks since the start of the 2021 campaign rank third in the NFL behind Cleveland's Myles Garrett (64) and Pittsburgh's T.J. Watt (61.5). His four sacks this year are tied for second in the AFC, and he is coming off a two-sack performance last week against the Lions.

Money Mac One Kick Away From 100

Evan McPherson enters Sunday with 99 made field goals in his career (regular season). With one against the Packers in what will be his 67th game, he would become the fifth-fastest kicker in Bengals history to reach 100 career field goals. The Cincinnati kickers to hit that mark in fewer games were Doug Pelfrey (59 games), Shayne Graham (62), Mike Nugent (62) and Horst Muhlmann (65).

McPherson is a perfect five-for-five on field goals and 10-for-10 on extra point attempts this season. He knocked through his longest kick of the season last week against Detroit, a 50-yarder as the first half clock expired. That boot was his 25th career made field goal from 50 or more yards, which already is the most in Bengals history and is tied for the sixth-most in the NFL since he entered the league in 2021.

Knight Racks Up the Stops

Five games into his career, rookie linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. leads the Bengals this season in total tackles (39) and solo tackles (23). He currently is two tackles shy of Cleveland linebacker Carson Schwesinger (41) for the most among all rookies this year.

Knight has logged at least five tackles in every game, and he has reached double-digits on two occasions. He racked up 10 stops (eight solos) in the opener at Cleveland, then matched that total in Week 4 at Denver.

• Tight end Noah Fant is set to play in his 100th career game (regular season).
• The Bengals have several players and coaches who previously spent time in Green Bay's organization:
  • Defensive tackle Mike Pennel entered the NFL as a college free agent signee with Green Bay in 2014 and spent his first three career seasons (2014-16) playing for the Packers.
  • Linebacker Oren Burks was a third-round draft pick of Green Bay in 2018 and played for the Packers from 2018-21.
  • Defensive tackle T.J. Slaton Jr. was a Packers fifth-round pick in 2021 and spent his first four seasons (2021-24) in Green Bay.
  • Defensive line coach/run game coordinator Jerry Montgomery spent nine seasons (2015-23) on Green Bay's coaching staff, serving as defensive front assistant from 2015-17 and defensive line coach from 2018-23.
