Biography
A sixth-round pick of the Bengals in 2024, McLachlan was inactive for 15 games as a rookie, but he did see action in two contests in December ... He spent his final two collegiate seasons (2022-23) at the University of Arizona, after beginning at Southern Utah ... In 25 career games at Arizona, he caught 79 passes for 984 yards and six TDs ... He earned second-team All-Pac-12 Conference honors in 2023 ... He finished his college career ranking first in Arizona program history in receptions by a tight end, and second in receiving yards ... A native of Lethbridge, Alberta (Canada), he was one of two Canadians on Bengals roster at the end of the 2024 season, alongside HB Chase Brown.
