Bengals running back Kenny Watson and safety Chinedum Ndukwe are up for weekly NFL awards following their performances in Cincinnati's 19-14 win over Cleveland last Sunday.

Watson is one of three finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week honors after matching his season high with 130 yards rushing. He also scored once in helping the Bengals put a damper on the rival Browns' playoff hopes. It was Watson's fourth 100-yard effort in six NFL seasons.

Ndukwe, making his first NFL start in place of the injured Dexter Jackson, is one of five nominees up for the Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week after recording nine tackles and two interceptions, including one of 44 yards that he returned to the Cleveland 5 to set up the Bengals' first touchdown of the day.

FEDEX GROUND NFL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Fans can cast their votes from 9 a.m. EST on Tuesday through 5 p.m. EST on Thursday to determine the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week. The winners will be announced Thursday afternoon on NFL.com.

In addition, NFL fans may cast their votes for the FedEx Air & Ground NFL Players of the Week using Sprint or Nextel wireless service - an opportunity available only to Sprint customers. This fast, convenient voting method involves texting the word FEDEX to short code 7777. Sprint customers will then receive an interactive text message that links fans to the ballot with the six finalists each week. Data and text messaging rates may apply.

If Watson wins this week's award, FedEx will donate $5000 to Cincinnati Children's Hospital.

DIET PEPSI ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Voting on NFL.com ends Thursday to determine the Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week, and the winner will be announced Thursday afternoon on NFL.com.

After the regular season, five players will be nominated for Diet Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Year honors. Fans can vote for the winner on NFL.com and via Sprint wireless service throughout the month of January. The winner will be announced at a press conference at Super Bowl XLII in Arizona.

This is Pepsi's sixth year as the official soft drink sponsor of the NFL and the third year that Diet Pepsi will present the NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL Rookie of the Year awards.
