Tix price same in '09

The Bengals announced Tuesday that ticket prices for the upcoming season at Paul Brown Stadium remain unchanged from the 2008 schedule.

The club announced in a press release that the average '08 NFL ticket price was $76.28 and that the Bengals average of $71.17 indicates that PBS prices should continue to be well below the league average.

The 2009 PBS schedule has division rivals Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Baltimore as well the Bears and the Lions from the NFC North, the Broncos and the Chiefs from the AFC West, and the finisher in the AFC South that matches the Bengals in the AFC North.

At 3-11-1, the Bengals are in fourth place but can finish in third with a win Sunday and a loss for the 4-11 Browns in Pittsburgh. Houston, at 7-8, and Jacksonville, at 5-10, are going to finish 3-4 in the South.

Dates and times are announced in the spring.

Ironically, the Chiefs are Sunday's foe at PBS, which marks a franchise-record 44th straight sellout in a streak that began Nov, 16, 2003, in front of a crowd of 64,923 that saw the Bengals knock off 9-0 Kansas City.
