Following his performance in last Sunday's 34-17 victory over the Cleveland Browns, Bengals running back Rudi Johnson has been nominated as one of three finalists for FedEx Ground NFL Player of the Week the NFL announced.

Johnson rushed 26 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns in the win, which gave Cincinnati a 2-0 mark on the 2006 season.

Johnson is up against Atlanta's Warrick Dunn and Frank Gore of the 49ers for this week's award. If Rudi wins the voting FedEx will donate $5000 in his name to Cincinnati Children's Hospital. Voting runs through 6 p.m. Thursday and the winners will be announced Thursday evening on fedexfootball.com.
