Perry limited

Posted: 4:30 p.m.

No wonder Cedric Benson might play.

Chris Perry became the third Bengals tailback felled by a hamstring problem in a week and was listed on Wednesday's injury report as limited in practice. DeDe Dorsey is already on injured reserve with his hamstring and while Kenny Watson is hopeful about playing, he didn't participate in practice.

As expected, quarterback Carson Palmer (elbow) was listed as limited.

Also not participating were both middle linebackers in Dhani Jones (foot) and Corey Mays (ankle), and cornerback Johnathan Joseph (ankle). Joseph suited up fully in shoulder pads and helmet, but worked on the side. He hopes to be able to go in team drills Thursday for the first time since he suffered the injury late in the Tennessee game in the second week.

"I want to make sure it's one or two weeks instead of nine," he said.
