Notes: Ocho catches a 20

Updated: 10:30 p.m.

Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco hit the stage again Monday night on ABC's Dancing With The Stars, and he backed up his words to his Twitter nation with a much better performance. The judges gave The Ocho and partner Cheryl Burke a 20 after their rendition of a bullfighter's bid to seduce.

The Ocho sounded positively upbeat after last week's stunningly stiff and solemn foxtrot. Now that he's been preparing for the "PASO DOBLE," he has tweeted that "I can relate to this more like the CHA CHA in week 1. Fox Trot was my weakness."

He also weighed in this week on Twitter with, "the faster the dance the better i am, anything with hip movements is easy, it takes super discipline on the slow dances Frame-Posture=fail."

And he came through with a much more aggressive, football-like outing, complete with a slide across the floor on his knees that started it off. The judges still got on him for his posture, but he should hold up for another week.

SHIRLEY INJURED: Bengals guard Jason Shirley is feared lost for the season after undergoing surgery Monday to repair a torn Achilles. The 6-5, 338-pound Shirley apparently was injured playing in a charity basketball game with a team of Bengals over the weekend. Shirley, a defensive tackle taken in the fifth round out of Fresno State in 2008, moved to the offensive line early in the last training camp and was on the practice squad all year. He is looking at the very least at a six-month rehab, which would bring him to October.
