Pro Bowl WILL linebacker Vontaze Burfict is eligible to come off the physically unable to perform list (PUP) the day after Sunday's game in Buffalo (1 p.m.-Cincinnati's Channel 12), but head coach Marvin Lewis said there'll be no roster moves next week with Burfict or rookie left tackle Cedric Ogbuehi.

But he also said that doesn't take them out of possibly being active for the Nov. 1 game in Pittsburgh.

With just two days of practice next week during their bye, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Lewis said after practice Friday it would be "a waste of time."

Burfict and Ogbuehi, who is also eligible Monday to return off the reserve non-football injury list, could return to practice without making a move. But Lewis indicated they won't practice during the abbreviated week. Still, they have a full week to get ready for the Steelers when they return to work the Monday after the bye.

A delayed return helps with the clock. Once they return to practice, there's a three-week window to put them on the active roster.

TAYLOR 50-50: There were no answers about their quarterback situation when the Bills injury report came out Friday. They listed starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor questionable with a sprained knee after he went limited for the third straight day with backup E.J. Manuel taking the other snaps.

After blasting his quarterbacks for not getting him the ball, wide receiver Sammy Watkins (calf) also went limited for the third straight day and is questionable to miss his third straight game.

Also surfacing as questionable Friday is the other wide receiver Percy Harvin (hip), who has gone the gamut this week. He didn't practice Wednesday, went full Thursday and then went limited Friday.

Ironically, running back LeSean McCoy (hamstring), who said last week after missing the last two games that he needed three or four more weeks before he returned, is the most definitive. He's probable after going limited Friday for the third straight day.

McCoy rescues the Bills from a precarious situation, where rookie Karlos Williams (concussion) has been declared out of his second straight game after a spectacular debut with four TDs and 226 yards in his first four games.

INJURY UPDATE: Bengals slot cornerback Leon Hall (back) is the only Bengal listed as questionable after being the only player that didn't go full in Friday's practice. On deck for Hall is Darqueze Dennard, who played in the slot for 19 snaps last Sunday after Hall was limited to 14. Dennard got beat on a 46-yard play against Seattle, but also made some good tackles in the red zone.

PHILIP RIVERS WEATHER UPDATE:The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio is calling for a 50 percent chance of rain under cloudy skies in Buffalo with a wind out of the northwest at about 10 miles per hour. The kick-off temperature of 41 degrees should hold up all game.
