Lewis: Coaching staff close to intact

Posted: 10:30 p.m.

MOBILE, Ala. - The Bengals are still searching for an assistant offensive line coach to replace new Princeton coach Bob Surace, but head coach Marvin Lewis said Monday at the Senior Bowl he anticipates little staff disruption in wake of the news that quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese is returning for another year.

Zampese, who interviewed for the Bears offensive coordinator job, is the only quarterbacks coach Lewis has had in his eight seasons in Cincinnati. Former Bengals receivers coach and current Ravens quarterbacks coach Hue Jackson is interviewing for the Bears job, according to reports.
