Posted: 2:50 p.m.

The Bengals on Friday made the following roster moves:

Signed tight end Nate Lawrie from the Cincinnati practice squad. Lawrie played in three Bengals games in 2007 (no receptions) and played in all four Bengals 2008 preseason games. He was released Aug. 30, spent a week on the Baltimore practice squad, and was signed to the Bengals practice squad on Sept. 11.

Signed cornerback Geoffrey Pope from the Cincinnati practice squad. Pope has played in one Bengals game this season (Game 3 at N.Y. Giants) while spending five weeks on the practice squad. He spent the 2007 regular season on the Giants practice squad and was activated to the roster in postseason, playing in two games with one special teams tackle.

Placed safety Herana-Daze Jones on the Reserve/Injured list. Jones suffered a hamstring injury last week at the N.Y. Jets. He played in Games 1 and 5-6 this season, with five special-teams tackles, missing Games 2-4 with a hamstring injury not related to last weeks. He led the Bengals in special-teams tackles in both 2006 and 2007.

Placed center Kyle Cook on the Reserve/Injured list. Cook is a first-year player from Michigan State. He has played in the last five games, primarily on special teams, but in the last two games he has reaggravated a dislocated toe that he sustained in warmups prior to Game 5 at Dallas.
