NOTEWORTHY

»» The NFC South's Falcons and Buccaneers are the only teams the Bengals have yet to beat in head coach Marvin Lewis' 12 seasons. They get the Bucs in Tampa Nov. 30

»» In the only game Lewis faced the Falcons in Cincinnati, Atlanta quarterback Michael Vick clinic-ed  the Bengals in rallying from 14-6 deficit to a 29-27 victory on Oct. 29, 2006. Vick had a monstrous day with a passer rating of 142.7 and three touchdowns while rushing for 55 yards.

»» The game pits Lewis against two of his closest friends in the game. Falcons head coach Mike Smith worked as Lewis' defensive line coach from 1999-2001 when Lewis coordinated the Ravens defense. Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter is a roommate and teammate of Lewis' from their Idaho State days.

»» Bengals offensive coordinator Hue Jackson had the same job in Atlanta in 2007, the year Bobby Petrino left the team late in his first season as head coach to go back to college.

»» During the 2013 preseason that the HBO Hard Knocks series documented the Bengals, Cincinnati traveled to Atlanta to scrimmage the Falcons for two days before a 34-10 opening victory. HBO then signed up the Falcons for this past preseason.

»» The last time the club's met, wide receiver Roddy White racked up 201 yards  in Atlanta's 39-32 victory in Atlanta on Oct. 24, 2010.  White lines up against the Bengals again after coming up with the most prolific receiving day against them in the 21st century. The 260 yards of San Diego's Wes Chandler in 1982 is the record, followed by Art Monk's 230 in Washington in 1985 and James Lofton's 220 in Buffalo in 1991.
