The Bengals today acquired QB Brad Kaaya on waivers from the Indianapolis Colts.

Kaaya (6-4, 215), who will be a third-year player in 2019, originally was a Detroit Lions sixth-round draft pick out of the University of Miami in the 2017 NFL Draft.

He spent time during his rookie season with the Carolina Panthers, the Lions and the Colts, but he did not play in a game.

He spent the entire 2018 season on the Colts’ Reserve/Injured list.

The Colts waived him on Friday.
