Roster moves: McDonald promoted, Murray waived

The Bengals on Monday made the following roster moves:

» Signed defensive tackle Clinton McDonald to the roster from the Bengals practice squad. McDonald is a first-year NFL player. He played in all five Bengals 2010 preseason games, with 13 tackles, including a shared sack. He was waived Sept. 4 and signed Sept. 5 to the practice squad. He was a Bengals seventh-round draft choice in 2009 and spent all of the '09 season on the Cincinnati practice squad.

» Waived CB Rico Murray, a first-year player from Kent State. Murray has played in one game, last week vs. Miami. He spent Games 1-6 of this season on the practice squad. He played in four games last season as a rookie.
