Robinson to Arizona; Verdon waived

The Bengals lost a defensive lineman Friday when free agent Bryan Robinson signed with the Arizona Cardinals. Robinson had 28 tackles, including 1.5 sacks, a pass defensed and a forced fumble during the 2007 season, his third with Cincinnati.

Also Friday, the Bengals waived defensive end Jimmy Verdon, a first-year NFL player from Arizona State.

Verdon joined the Bengals as a free agent in January of 2007, but suffered a knee injury in NFL Europa play that sidelined him for the '07 NFL season.
