Trio of Bengals Ring of Honor Members Among 52 Hall of Fame Senior Candidates

Ken Anderson and Isaac Curtis, the Bengals' iconic and inaugural big-play connection, as well as newest Bengals Ring of Honor inductee Lemar Parrish, head a list of 52 senior candidates for this year's induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Anderson, the only eligible quarterback with four NFL passing titles not in the Canton, Ohio shrine, has made it four straight years to the semifinals. Curtis is looking for his first trip after Anderson threw him 51 of his 53 career touchdown passes, more career TDs than Lynn Swann, Curtis' Hall-of-Fame peer from the AFC Central 1970s. Both are also in the Bengals Ring of Honor.

Parrish, the only eligible cornerback with at least eight Pro Bowls not in the Hall, is also looking to advance to the semis for the first time.

Other Bengals senior candidates, such as four-time Pro Bowl guard Max Montoya, didn't get through a Seniors Screening Committee list of 162 players.

The names of Anderson, Curtis, Parrish and 49 others now go to the nine-member Seniors Blue-Ribbon Committee. The committee, of which Bengals.com is a member, also serves on the full Hall of Fame Selection Committee.

They'll cut the list of 52 senior candidates to 25 later this month, then to a semifinal field of nine. Next month, the committee meets virtually to select the three seniors who advance to the Class of 2026 finals.

The trio of senior nominees joins candidates from the Modern Era and contributors categories. The class can range from four to eight members.
