Hall wins AFC honor

Right guard Bobbie Williams called it in the moments after the game.

Cornerback Leon Hall became the first Bengal to win AFC Defensive Player of the Week in three years Wednesday in the wake of his three interceptions against the Browns during last Sunday's 14-0 victory in Cleveland.

Hall tied a team record with his first interceptions of the season and got the honor last won by linebacker Brian Simmons after he had nine tackles, a sack and forced fumble during the 21-9 win in Baltimore on Nov. 6, 2005.
