The NFL on Tuesday granted the Bengals a one-week roster exemption for linebacker Darryl Blackstock, who has completed a four-game league suspension for using a nutritional supplement that included a banned substance.

Blackstock will be allowed to participate in all team activities until Monday without counting against Cincinnati's roster limit. The Bengals have a bye this weekend, and will have to open a roster spot for Blackstock if he is to practice next week and/or play on Nov. 16 vs. Philadelphia. He played in Games 1-5 this season, with one start, and had four tackles on defense and one on special teams.

JONES WAIVED: The Bengals also announced Tuesday that cornerback Herana-Daze Jones has been waived from the Reserve/Injured list with an injury settlement.

Jones, a third-year player from Indiana, was placed on Reserve/Injured on October 17, with a hamstring injury.
