Bengals running back Giovani Bernard is one of five finalists for the 2013 Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Year. Bernard's competitors for the honor include Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen, Bills linebacker Kiko Alonso, Packers runing back Eddie Lacy and Vikings wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson.

Fans can vote for one of these five players through Tuesday, January 28 to determine the 2013 Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Year.

The 2013 Pepsi Next NFL Rookie of the Year will be announced in New York City at the "3rd Annual NFL Honors" awards show, a two-hour primetime special to air nationally on February 1 on FOX the night before Super Bowl XLVIII.

The five finalists were selected for their outstanding performances throughout the 2013 NFL season. Pepsi NEXT—which delivers unbelievable real cola taste with 60 percent less sugar—was proud to support the unbelievable rookie performances throughout the 2013 NFL season. Each week, five nominees were chosen for the Pepsi NEXT NFL Rookie of the Week and NFL fans voted for the winner on NFL.com. Those results were used to help determine the finalists.
