The Bengals on Monday waived linebacker Roy Manning.

Manning, from the University of Michigan, is a fourth-year NFL player in 2008. He was acquired by Cincinnati on waivers from Jacksonville on Nov. 13 of last season and played in five games, with seven special-teams tackles.
