The Bengals today signed rookie WR Bennie Brazell of Louisiana State to a four-year contract. Brazell was a seventh round Bengals selection (231st overall) in the 2006 Draft.

Brazell played in 43 games over four seasons at LSU, but he was limited to mostly reserve duty while pursuing an All-American track career. He was a 2004 U.S. Olympic team member in the 400 meter hurdles, and he won five NCAA titles as a hurdler. He caught 17 passes for 340 yards in his LSU football career, including 13-for-292 (22.5 avg.) with three touchdowns last season.
