Bengals, Gold Star Chili renew

!

Gold Star Chili, The Flavor of Cincinnati, has renewed its partnership agreement with the Cincinnati Bengals and will continue to be the "Official Chili of the Cincinnati Bengals" for the next five years.

As part of this agreement, Gold Star's signature Cincinnati-style chili products will be served in eight concession stands throughout Paul Brown Stadium at every Bengals home game and other functions hosted at the stadium.

"Football, from CYO leagues to high school to college to the Bengals, is one of the defining characteristics of living in Greater Cincinnati," says Gold Star Chili Director of Marketing, Charlie Howard. "Eating Cincinnati-style chili is another signature characteristic of the city and its neighborhoods. Both generate an extreme amount of passion and loyalty. Gold Star Chili is excited and proud to bring these two long-standing traditions together with our partnership with the Cincinnati Bengals."

In addition to promoting the city's passion for its hometown dish, Cincinnati-style chili, Gold Star hopes to utilize its Bengals partnership to showcase some of the company's, and its franchisees', ongoing charitable efforts with in-stadium promotions for programs such as the Cincinnati FreestoreFoodbank and Serving Our Troops.

To celebrate its Bengals partnership and to bring the football and chili fans of Chilitown USA truly great food value, Gold Star Chili will kick off the football season with $5 Bengals Combos at all Gold Star locations, along with the chance to enter to win tickets for the November 29 Bengals vs. Browns game at Paul Brown Stadium. The promotion begins August 24, just in time for the Bengals first home preseason game against the St. Louis Rams on August 27.
