Bengals cut three

Posted: 11:05 a.m.

With three weeks to the day of their first training camp practice, the Bengals waived three players Monday when they released defensive tackles Titus Adams and Michael Marquardt and cornerback Jerrid Gaines.

Adams, out of Nebraska, is a first-year NFL player who was on the Bengals practice squad for the last two games of 2007. Arizona State's Marquardt and Gaines, a product of Springfield, Ohio, and Miami University, are rookies who signed with the Bengals this past spring as college free agents.
