AT&T helps bring fans closer to game

AT&T* and the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday announced the launch of a non-exclusive sponsorship agreement that will bring AT&T customers and Bengals fans access to several interactive mobile experiences while at home games beginning this season.

The AT&T "B" Zone interactive display area will be a suite or club level like atmosphere at the gate E entrance inside the stadium and will allow fans to interact with the latest in mobile technology. The AT&T "B" Zone will feature large screen TV's to let fans keep track of the game while touring four product stations that include demonstrations of AT&T Mobile TV, wireless netbooks, wireless devices and gaming. Fans can also download Bengals screensavers to their wireless phones, enter to win sweepstakes and receive AT&T product coupons.

"We are always interested in bringing exciting, new enhancements to the game day experience for Bengals fans, so our alignment with AT&T is one we are very proud of," said Katie Blackburn, executive vice president, Cincinnati Bengals. "The AT&T 'B' Zone will be a fun destination for fans on game day."

AT&T is also a title sponsor of a wireless alert program to keep fans connected to Bengals football news whether they're at the game or on the go. The wireless alert program lets fans sign up for score updates, Bengals news alerts, all via text message to their mobile phones. To participate, fans can text 'bengals' to 56418.

"This opportunity gives AT&T a chance to showcase our mobile technology at a great venue and build on the already great fan experience in the stadium," said Larry Evans, vice president and general manager, AT&T Mobility and Consumer Markets. "Our customers are more mobile than ever before and the wireless alert program can help keep them connected to the action on the field in new and unique ways."

The sponsorship agreement will also provide AT&T with a variety of in-game signage where the AT&T logo will be visible to fans throughout the stadium. There will be an AT&T branded tent with a gaming kiosk and a wireless device display area inside the Jungle Zone prior to kickoff.
