Ticket Packs for 2004 Bengals' games at Paul Brown Stadium go on sale Wednesday, June 2, highlighting a stretch in which the club has tripled new season ticket sales from last year.
The four two-game packages are:
PACK D: Nov. 28 vs. the Cleveland Browns, and Dec. 19 vs. the Buffalo Bills in a reunion game against former Bengals linebacker Takeo Spikes and former Bengals head coach Sam Wyche, now the Bills quarterbacks coach.
Single game tickets for the 2004 home pre-season games also go on sale June 2.
"Since the schedule came out and the Select-a-Seat program, this is the busiest three weeks in the offseason we've had since we moved to the stadium," said Kevin Lane, the club's director of ticket sales who wouldn't divulge numbers. "It's been brisk all year. We haven't had an offseason like it in recent memory."
The Bengals set a PBS attendance record last year at 479,488 that included the four largest crowds in team history and their most sellouts in 11 years with five as first-year head coach Marvin Lewis led the NFL's biggest turnaround in steering the Bengals to an 8-8 record.
Fans may purchase Ticket Packs and pre-season single game tickets beginning at 9 a.m. June 2 by calling the Bengals Ticket Hotline. In Greater Cincinnati, call (513) 621-TDTD (8383). Outside of the local Cincinnati area, call toll free at (866) 621-TDTD (8383).
Tickets may be bought in person by completing an order form at the PBS ticket office windows, located near Gate E on the Plaza Level. Order forms for both Ticket Packs and pre-season single game tickets will also be available on the Bengals' official website at www.bengals.com.
A Ticket Pack provides admission to two regular-season games, allowing buyers to hold the same seats for both games within the package. There are four different packages, and seat locations will be offered on all three levels of the stadium for each package.
Prices for Ticket Packs range from $80-120 per person, including both games. Ticket Pack buyers also receive priority ahead of the general public for the opportunity to purchase tickets for any 2004 season Bengals' home playoff games.
"We wanted to make sure to offer packages in a way so fans can see games over different months of the season," Lane said. "We did it based on scheduling to make it appealing to people who might want to buy a couple of packages if a season ticket doesn't fit them."
Tickets for the two pre-season games at PBS (Saturday, Aug. 21 against New England and Friday, Sept. 3 against Indianapolis) can be purchased individually beginning June 2. They are available on all three levels throughout the stadium with prices ranging from $40 - $60 per ticket.
Season Tickets for 2004 are currently on-sale and continue to be offered through the summer. Group tickets and regular season single-game tickets go on-sale at dates to be determined.
