Ticket options for 2014

With OTAs coming to a close this week, players have about a month off to re-charge and prepare for training camp. But fans can use the upcoming weeks to ponder ticket options for an upcoming season the Bengals defend the AFC North title and their undefeated home record.

"We were an undefeated 8-0 at home during last year's regular season and a very critical reason for that success was the loud home field advantage where every game was sold out," said Andrew Brown, Bengals Ticket Sales Manager. "The energy of a packed Paul Brown Stadium on game day is like nothing else around and the players really feed off of the crowd, so our fans play a vital role in what we're trying to accomplish here."

The Bengals 2014 schedule has been well documented and analyzed to this point, but just as a reminder, here are the eight home opponents:

  • Atlanta Falcons (Sunday, Sept. 14)
  • Tennessee Titans (Sunday, Sept. 21)
  • Carolina Panthers (Sunday, Oct. 12)
  • Baltimore Ravens (Sunday, Oct. 26)
  • Jacksonville Jaguars (Sunday, Nov. 2)
  • Cleveland Browns (Thursday, Nov. 6)
  • Pittsburgh Steelers (Sunday, Dec. 7)
  • Denver Broncos (Monday, Dec. 22)

In addition to full Season Ticket packages, the Club is offering Group Ticket packages and two- and four-game Ticket Packs for purchase.

In previous years, the minimum amount of tickets to be purchased for the Group Tickets program was 20 to get your group's name on the scoreboard, and 40 to get the group rate. For this season, the minimum number of tickets needed to be purchased is only 15, which includes both the group's name on the scoreboard as well as the group rate.

"We want to make attending a Bengals game a fun event for all types of fans, and there is no better way to experience game day than with people you know around you," said Brown. "So we've updated our Group Tickets program a little bit this year to make it easier and more beneficial for fans to gather up a group of their friends, family, or co-workers for a Bengals game in 2014."

Ticket packs are available again this season in sets of two and four games. The packs start as low as $44 per game, among the most affordable prices in the National Football League. The other pricing tiers for ticket packs are $50, $65, $72 and $80 per game.

The Four-Game Pack, which offers better seating locations than the Two-Game Pack, comes with two options: Black or Orange. The Black Pack constitutes the home opener against the Atlanta Falcons, as well as each of the three AFC North Division games (Baltimore, Cleveland, Pittsburgh). The Orange Pack includes games against Tennessee, Carolina, Jacksonville and the Monday nighter against the defending AFC Champion Denver Broncos.

The Two-Game Packs offer four different options. Pack A pairs the home opener against Atlanta with Pittsburgh, Pack B pairs Tennessee-Denver, Pack C pairs Carolina-Jacksonville and Pack D features the remaining AFC North foes in Baltimore and the Thursday night game against Cleveland.

"Ticket Packs continue to be one of the more popular ticket options we offer," said Brown. "Being in sets of two and four games, they tend to work out perfectly for big fans that can't quite work the full Season Ticket package into their schedules."

As always, full Season Ticket packages are available and provide the best pricing and seat locations compared to the Ticket Packs. Other benefits of becoming a full season ticket member  include exclusive events such as the Draft Party and Season Ticket Member stadium tours, which include going onto the field and in the Bengals locker room. Additionally, season ticket holders join the NFL Membership Club, which includes free NFL Red Zone Channel on smartphones, free NFL Game Rewind and the opportunity to join an exclusive fantasy football league which began last year to rave reviews.
