News and Notes: Snow alters practice plans

4:30 p.m.

With snow in Wednesday's forecast, the Bengals are putting on the full-court press to sell out Sunday's Paul Brown Stadium finale against the Giants as quickly as possible and complete their first home schedule sellout of all eight games since 1992.

Tim Kelly, the club's ticket manager, said Tuesday they are in good position to get the 11th straight sellout, "but we have to keep selling and keep going at this pace to get it done." Tickets can be purchased at 513-621-8383, or by clicking here.

Sunday's game is believed to be the NFL's first between teams with quarterbacks selected first overall in consecutive drafts when one of them was a rookie since rookie Jim Plunkett's Patriots played Terry Bradshaw's Steelers in 1971. Giants rookie Eli Manning is coming off his best game as a pro while the Bengals' Carson Palmer is questionable with a knee injury ...

With snow allegedly headed to Cincinnati, head coach Marvin Lewis has scheduled an indoors practice Wednesday at the Wall2Wall Soccer complex in Mason, Ohio. The club could also work there Thursday if the weather calls for it, but it plans on working at PBS Friday.
