Mock update: Two more out

Updated: 8-2-08, 12:50 p.m.

The Bengals have released the players that will not be participating in Saturday's Mock Game:

  • DeDe Dorsey T.J. Houshmandzadeh Chad Johnson Jeremi Johnson Herana-Daze Jones Ethan Kilmer Antwan Odom Kenny Watson Rudi Johnson Jonathan Zenon

Linebackers Ahmad Brooks and Dan Howell were added to that list after Friday night's scrimmage. Running back Chris Perry had to switch to the Black team for depth purposes and cornerback Deltha O'Neal moved to the white. Rookie fullback and Cincinnati product Bradley Glatthaar (Elder, University of Cincinnati) was set to play for both.

Earlier Friday morning, the Bengals underwent a light workout in preparation for the scrimmage.

A lot of offensive players got the morning off, including wide receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh and running backs Rudi Johnson, Chris Perry and Kenny Watson, as well as right tackle Willie Anderson, although Anderson was suited in everything but his helmet and went through stretches.

The team was working in uniform jerseys and shorts. Wide receiver Chad Johnson continued to sit and is not expected to participate in the scrimmage.
