Lewis up for Coach of Week Award

Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis is one of three nominees for this week's Motorola NFL Coach of the Week honors after his team defeated the Washington Redskins, 20-13, last Sunday at Paul Brown Stadium.

Fans can vote on NFL.com for the head coach whose game plan played the greatest role in his team's victory. Voting will take place from Tuesday morning through noon ET on Friday to determine the Motorola NFL Coach of the Week.

The winner will be announced Friday afternoon on NFL.com. In January, voting will be held on NFL.com to determine the Motorola NFL Coach of the Year.

Other nominees for this week's award include Texans coach Gary Kubiak and Cowboys coach Wade Phillips.

Bengals quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 16 of 29 passes for 209 yards and one touchdown and added 29 yards and one rushing touchdown. The Cincinnati offense gained a total of 310 yards and controlled the ball for more than 31 minutes. Cincinnati's defense forced two turnovers and recovered two Washington fumbles, one of which led to a touchdown drive and another that stopped the Redskins at the goal line.
