Marvin Lewis' impact on the community will continue to be felt for years to come. He launched the Marvin Lewis Community Fund in 2003, and since then has raised around $15 million dollars.

Lewis' passion for education became the driving force behind MLCF's outreach endeavors, with core programs focused on serving children and adults through educational opportunities.

Learning Is Cool is the MLCF's signature program. The program recognizes and rewards students for "A" (3.51+) Honor Roll performance. Students who reach the "A" Honor Roll at least twice during the school year are invited to attend the Academic Achievement Celebration at the Cincinnati Zoo. Over the past ten years, there have been nearly 250,000 students in the program with nearly 50,000 of them being invited to the Academic Achievement Celebration.

MLCF's annual golf outing raised money for the scholarship fund, which awarded 84 students with nearly $2 million in scholarships over the years.
