Joe Burrow Nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Players of Week 16

Bengals QB Joe Burrow has been nominated for FedEx Air & Ground Players of the Week for Week 16, the NFL announced Monday.

Burrow completed 25-of-32 passes for 309 yards, four touchdowns and a 146.5 passer rating in the 45-21 victory over the Dolphins Sunday. He became the fifth player in NFL history to record 20,000 pass yards in their first 75 games, joining Patrick Mahomes, Matthew Stafford, Andrew Luck and Dan Marino. Burrow also joined Mahomes and Marino as the only players in league history to throw for at least 150 touchdowns in the first 75 games.

Among all players in NFL history through 75 career games, Burrow ranks first in completions (1,868), third in touchdown passes (152) and fifth in passing yards (20,269).

The 2020 first-overall pick from LSU led the Bengals to their most points in a game since 2013 Sunday.

"That's how it's supposed to look like," Burrow said after the win. "That's what it's supposed to feel like, so we've got to keep that feeling going the next couple of weeks and build some momentum."
