The Bengals play the Baltimore Ravens for the second time in three weeks Sunday, this time at Paycor Stadium. Cincinnati defeated Baltimore on Thanksgiving night in Week 13, 32-14.
The Ravens are coming off a 27-22 loss to the Steelers at home in Week 14 and sit at 6-7 on the year. It's the first time they've been under .500 after Week 14 in the Lamar Jackson era.
Ravens Offense
After starting 1-5, the Ravens rattled off five straight victories before losing back-to-back games to divisional opponents. Now, Baltimore is in second place in the AFC North and looking up at the Steelers, who sit at 7-6.
QB Lamar Jackson threw a touchdown and ran for a touchdown in Week 14's loss to Pittsburgh, breaking an eight-game streak without a rushing score and a three-game streak without a pass touchdown. Jackson has started in 10 games this season. In his first six, he had 15 passing touchdowns and just one interception, but he's thrown only one touchdown to four interceptions in his last four.
In their Week 13 matchup, the Bengals held Jackson to a 53% completion percentage and turned Jackson over three times (Baltimore as a team had five turnovers in the loss).
RB Derrick Henry cleared 1,000 yards for the seventh time in his career Sunday, joining LaDaianian Tomlinson, Emmitt Smith and Adrian Peterson as the only running backs to have 1,000+ rush yards and 10+ rush touchdowns in at least seven seasons. Cincinnati held Henry in check in Week 13: Outside of a 28-yard scamper, Henry averaged 3.5 yards per carry.
Backup RB Keaton Mitchell had 76 rushing yards on six carries in Week 14. Mitchell left the game with a knee injury, but Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh confirmed good news Monday and called him day-to-day.
WR Zay Flowers had his second-most receiving yards of the season against the Steelers, grabbing eight receptions for 124 yards. The Bengals shut down Flowers on Thanksgiving, as he had just two catches for six yards. TE Isaiah Likely scored his first touchdown against Pittsburgh after leading the Ravens with 95 yards against Cincinnati.
Veteran wideout DeAndre Hopkins has had a quiet season so far with just 17 receptions. He received one target in the Week 14 loss to Pittsburgh and played just 13 snaps after catching two passes for 25 yards on three targets against the Bengals in Week 13.
Ravens Defense
The Baltimore defense allowed Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers to have one of his most efficient games of the season, posting an 87.5 PFF passing grade, his highest of the year. Rodgers had his second highest yards per attempt of the year (8.4) and his most yards in a game in 2025 (284) in the 27-22 victory. Rodgers found WR D.K. Metcalf early and often, targeting his WR1 12 times for seven catches and 148 yards.
The Baltimore secondary struggled to contain Cincinnati WR1 Ja’Marr Chase in Week 13, hauling in seven catches for 110 yards. The Ravens threw different corners on the All-Pro, as former Bengal Chidobe Awuzie, Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey all logged snaps as Chase's primary defender. Per PFF, Awuzie had the best success, allowing two receptions for 16 yards and one first down on four targets.
Baltimore averages 236.1 yards per game through the air allowed, the seventh most in the NFL.
In his first game back from a toe injury that sidelined him since Week 2, QB Joe Burrow threw 46 passes, completing 24 for 261 yards and two touchdowns on Thanksgiving against the Ravens.
"[Joe Burrow] made some great throws. That's who he is, and that's why he's regarded as one of the best in our league," safety Kyle Hamilton said after Week 13. "He has the stats, been to the Super Bowl, all this other stuff, and it's not by accident."
Cincinnati kept the Baltimore defense on the field in Week 13, holding the ball for over 17 more minutes than the Ravens.
Pittsburgh only ran the ball 17 times for 34 yards against the Ravens after the Bengals galloped for 128 yards on 33 carries, led by 78 rushing yards for Chase Brown. On the year, Baltimore is allowing 111.9 rushing yards per game.
