As the Bengals enter their bye week, here are some key numbers to know from the first half of the 2025 season.

WR Ja’Marr Chase paces the NFL with 76 receptions this season, 15 more than second place (RB Christian McCaffery and WR Puka Nacua). Chase also has 107 targets, 20 more than the next-highest player, WR Chris Olave. Chase ranks second in receiving yards (831) and is top 10 in touchdowns with five as he looks to defend his triple crown.

Since he became the Bengals starter in Week 6, QB Joe Flacco leads the NFL with 1,254 passing yards and 11 passing touchdowns. In that time frame, Cincinnati's offense has scored at least 30 points in three of four games, including 38 in back-to-back outings. Flacco's 86.0 PFF offensive grade is the fourth highest in the NFL since Week 6.

Just a reminder that Flacco is 40 years old. In Week 9, he threw for a career-high 470 yards, the most passing yards in a regular-season game by any player 40+ years old. He also became the oldest quarterback to post a game with at least 450 passing yards and four touchdowns.

WR Tee Higgins has scored a touchdown in nine straight home games, one of three receivers to ever have such a streak. Higgins joins Hall-of-Fame wideouts Jerry Rice and Cris Carter. The Clemson product needs a touchdown in Week 12 against the Patriots to tie Carter for the longest streak in NFL history, and a score in Week 15 against the Ravens would then set the record.
Higgins also cleared the 5,000-yard mark in Week 9, becoming the fifth-fastest Bengal to reach the milestone.

Rookie linebacker Demetrius Knight Jr. leads all rookie linebackers with 68 combined tackles this season.

CB DJ Turner II has posted a 78.1 PFF coverage grade in 2025, the sixth-highest grade among corners with at least 100 snaps played. Turner also has two interceptions on the season and has allowed two or fewer receptions in six of nine games. Per PFF, he was targeted just once when covering Bears second-year breakout WR Rome Odunze in Week 9 and didn't allow a catch, and he allowed zero catches and had a pass breakup when covering Lions WR Amon-Ra St. Brown in Week 5.

RB Chase Brown has averaged six yards per carry over the last four games, the fifth best among running backs with at least 10 carries, per PFF. Brown averaged a career-best 9.8 yards per carry in the Thursday Night Football victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 7.

WR Charlie Jones notched his second-career kick return for a touchdown in Week 9 on the opening kickoff. Per Next Gen Stats, Jones hit a top speed of 21.78 miles per hour, the second-fastest recorded speed by a ball carrier on a touchdown this season.

P Ryan Rehkow has averaged a league-leading 52.8 yards per punt this season. He is one of six punters to boot a punt at least 70 yards this season and ranks in the top 10 of punts downed inside the 20-yard line.

K Evan McPherson crossed the 500-point threshold in Week 9, becoming the sixth Bengal and the third fastest to reach the milestone. After ending 2024 on Injured Reserve, McPherson has made every field goal attempt inside of 50 yards and is a perfect 23-of-23 on extra points in 2025.
