Now that the Bengals' Big Three of quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins have become the Big Four with running back Chase Brown, here's a glance at their assault on the Bengals record book:
Get Burrow to the rewrite desk. With the NFL's all-time completion percentage lead of 68.5, the next closest on the Bengals' list is Carson Palmer at 62.9% and Andy Dalton at 62%.
With a career passer rating of 101.1 that is the third highest of all-time (only Lamar Jackson and Aaron Rodgers have higher), the next closest on the Bengals list is Dalton at 87.5.
Burrow also is the franchise leader when it comes to quarterback winning percentage for games started at .565 (43-33-1), ahead of Dalton at .533 (70-61-2) and Bengals Ring of Honor member Ken Anderson at .529 (91-81).
If Burrow duplicates his 2024 season of 43 touchdown passes in a 17-game season, that would give him 200 for his career, leaping him past Anderson (197) and another Bengals Ring of Honor member, Boomer Esiason (187), into second place behind Dalton's club record 204. That would be the fourth-fastest in NFL history for 200 TD throws. In 94 games, that would be behind only Patrick Mahomes (217), Dan Marino (206) and Rodgers (205).
Chase has two seasons of 13 touchdown catches. With 54 career TDs, another one would make him the franchise's all-time leader with 67 to pass Chad Johnson's 66. If he does it in 17 games, that would be the fifth fastest to 67 in NFL history, tying him with Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Bullet Bob Hayes in his 95th game.
With 520 catches, Chase is 11 catches from moving into third place ahead of Carl Pickens and 80 catches from becoming the third Bengal with 600 catches behind Johnson (751) and A.J. Green (649).
With 6,837 yards, Chase is 265 from leaping past Pickens and Isaac Curtis into third place for yards, too. At that point, Curtis, Chase, Green (9,430) and the leader Johnson (10,783) would also be the only Bengals with 7,000 yards.
Chase is the franchise leader with 87.7 yards per game, third on the NFL's all-time list behind new leader Puka Nacua at 95.3, which dethroned Justin Jefferson's 90.2. Chase is ahead of Pro Football Hall-of-Famer Calvin Johnson's 86.1 in fourth place and has an easy lead over for the Bengals' franchise leader Green (74.3) and runner-up Johnson (71.4).
That's a good place to start with Higgins, quietly moving past some all-timers and making a bid to make the Chase-Higgins tandem 1-2 in Bengals history.
At 64 yards per game, he's fourth among Bengals receivers who have played more than a season in Cincy behind Chase, Green and Johnson. His 45 touchdown catches after his back-to-back double-digit seasons eased him past Eddie Brown (41) and T.J. Houshmandzadeh (37) and put Higgins eight away from Curtis' 53, in fifth place.
Higgins' 389 catches have brought him within 28 catches of passing the Bengals Ring of Honor member Curtis and 29 of passing Cris Collinsworth to move into seventh place. Houshmandzadeh looms next with 507 catches.
Higgins is a mere 694 yards from shooting past Houshmandzadeh, Darnay Scott, Tyler Boyd and Eddie Brown into seventh on the Bengals' all-time yardage list with 6,135.
Brown set the record for Bengals running backs with 69 catches in 2025. He had 54 the year before last, so an average of 62 over the last two years would give him 199 catches in his career. That would move him past franchise all-time leading rusher Corey Dillon's 192 and into fourth place for most career catches by a Bengals back. Giovani Bernard leads with 342, followed by James Brooks (297) and Joe Mixon (283).
Brown needs just four more touchdown catches to jet by Essex Johnson, Bernard and Mixon into second place behind Brooks' 27 touchdown catches that lead all Bengals backs.
With 23 overall touchdowns, Brown needs four more rushing or receiving to tie Ickey Woods and Boobie Clark for 10th place on the career touchdown list for running backs. With 70, running back Pete Johnson holds the franchise record for everyone.
With a career-high 1,456 yards, Brown had the 12th most scrimmage yards ever by a Bengals back this past season. A 1,592-yard season would vault him from 15th on the Bengals' all-time career list of backs to seventh, moving him past Cedric Benson into seventh place with 4,733 career scrimmage yards for Bengals backs.
He also had a career-high 301 touches. If Brown matches that in 2026, he'll move past franchise stalwarts such as Paul Robinson, Essex Johnson, Archie Griffin and Charles Alexander into the top nine with 943 career touches by a back. Dillon's club record of 2,057 from a distant time is just as distant.
