For the second consecutive week, Bengals running back Joe Mixon earned the FedEx Ground Player of the Week for his performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 12, the NFL announced.

Mixon was honored after rushing for a career-high 165 yards and two touchdowns against the Steelers.

Earlier in the day, Mixon was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for Week 12, his second career AFC Player of the Week award.

Mixon enters Sunday's game versus the Chargers with at least one touchdown in eight consecutive games, tied with WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh for the third-longest streak in Bengals history.

Mixon has scored 12 total touchdowns (10 rushing, two receiving) in his eight-game streak, which is also the second-longest active streak in the NFL, behind Colts RB Jonathan Taylor (nine).

This is Mixon's third FedEx Ground Player of the Week honor of the 2021 season and fourth overall. Fans were able to vote for the FedEx Ground Player of the Week on Twitter and on NFL.com.
