No Days Off For Mike
It is a Tuesday, a Bengals’ off day. But that is when Michael Johnson is always on top of his game. Then again, it’s always been more than a game for Johnson whenever he ventures into the community.
Matchup Of The Game: Bengals' Reinforcements Challenge Raider Front
Department of Everyone Has A Story: After practice one day this week defensive line coach Jacob Burney looked at the double doors leading into the Bengals locker room and compared them to the size of the monstrous offensive line they’ll face Sunday (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) against the Raiders at Paul Brown Stadium. Notebook: Co-MVPs?' Lazor Flags Flags; Offense seeking big passes
Time to start thinking about wide receiver Tyler Boyd and running back Joe Mixon as possibly the Bengals’ co-MVPs for 2018 as they prepare for Sunday’s Paul Brown Stadium finale (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) against the Raiders? Forget that they’re on the verge of their first 1,000-yard seasons. Green and quarterback Andy Dalton and how it’s provided leadership by example in a tough time.
Quick Hits: Corners nicked; Rey Looks In Mirror; Dominating PBS Finales
After coming off a solid season-high 27 snaps, cornerback KeiVarae Russell (finger) may not be available for Sunday’s Paul Brown Stadium finale (1 p.m.-Cincinnati’s Channel 12) against the Raiders. Russell, who apparently got hurt in Wednesday’s practice, didn’t work Thursday. Right end Michael Johnson (concussion) also didn't work and cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (ankle) went limited.
