The Bengals today signed DT Andrew Brown to the practice squad, and cleared DT Mike Daniels to return to practice by designating him for return from the Reserve/Injured list.

Brown (6-3, 290), a second-year player out to the University of Virginia, originally was a fifth-round draft pick of the Bengals in 2018. He has played in 18 career games (one start), and has 16 tackles and a sack. He was with the Bengals for the first six games this season, before being waived on Monday.

Daniels has been on the Reserve/Injured list since Oct. 3 with an elbow injury he suffered in practice on Oct. 1. Today starts a 21-day period during which Daniels may practice with the team without counting against the 53-player active roster. He is eligible to be activated to the roster at any time during that period.

Daniels has played in two games (both starts at DT) this season, and recorded two tackles.
