For Bengals fans looking who had a rooting interest in the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Championship game, they might have found the right "Guy."

Kyle Guy, star of the Virginia Cavaliers, is a big Cincinnati Bengals fan. Guy, the tournament's Most Outstanding Player, has been known to wear Bengals gear and support the team on social media.

Guy is an Indianapolis native, but Indystar.com's Kyle Neddenriep reported that Guy spent at least part of his childhood in Cincinnati before his father, Joe, moved him as a seventh-grader from Cincinnati to Lawrence Township in Indiana.

His bio on virginiasports.com also indicates the Cincinnati connection: "Father, Joe Guy, played football and participated in track from 1995-96 at the University of Cincinnati."

Virginia won the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Division I Tournament for the first time in program history. At the conclusion of the tournament, the Final Four All-Tournament was announced and the coveted Most Outstanding Player honor was awarded to Guy.
