The Bengals acquired DE Bryce Sterk on waivers from the Miami Dolphins.
Sterk (6-5, 261), a rookie out of Montana State University, signed with Miami as a college free agent in April, before being waived on Aug. 13. In college, he played 2018-19 at Montana State after beginning his career at the University of Washington ('15-17). Last season at Montana State, he recorded 65 tackles, including 20 for losses and 15 sacks (sixth in FCS).
Sterk will have a roster exemption and not count against the Bengals' 80-player roster limit until he passes COVID-19 testing protocols.
