Biography
Smith was inactive for all but one game in 2022 regular season, but saw action in each of Cincinnati's three postseason contests as three starters on offensive line were injured ... Made lone appearance of '22 regular season in Game 2 at Dallas, playing six offensive snaps ... A 2021 fourth-round pick of Bengals, he battled injuries throughout rookie season but played in two games (one start at LOT) ... A versatile player, he has lined up at both G and OT ... Spent five seasons (2016-20) at East Carolina; played G and OT early in career before settling at LT in third season ... After drafting him, Bengals coaches called him a pure OT prospect due to his size (6-5), length (35-inch arms) and agility.
