He is the second Bengal this season to win an AFC Player of the Week award, joining rookie K Evan McPherson, who won it on special teams in Week 1. Additionally, WR Ja'Marr Chase won NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for September.
This is Burrow's second career FedEx Air Player of the Week honor. Burrow took home the honors after his performance against the Cleveland Browns in Week 7 of the 2020 season.
It's also the second FedEx Air & Ground Player of the Week award for the Bengals. Running back Joe Mixon earned the FedEx Ground Player of the Week after a stellar Week 1 performance against the Minnesota Vikings.
Burrow received more votes than New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and Kansas City Chiefs signal caller Patrick Mahomes in Week 4.
